CRS - How to Export Marked Records
HOWTO
1. After you have marked the records you want to export. Click the Export/Labels button.

2. The Options for Exporting Records/Printing Labels page will open. For Number of Records select the Marked Records option. Note: The number of records you marked will be in parentheses

3. You have the option to Skip records with no zip code and to Remove exact duplicates. Put a check mark in the desired boxes.

4. For Addressee Is Displayed As: select one of the options
If you are exporting records of individuals use First Name First.
If you are exporting records of companies use Last Name First.

5. For Address Used Is: select the option you are most interested in.
For Owners Address this will be the mailing address for the owner of the property
For Property Address this will be the actual property's address. The owner of the property may not be at this address.

6. For When Exporting to Comma delimited Files: You have the option to Include additional fields for Mr/Mrs., First, Middle, & Last Names. Check the box if you would like to export these fields.

7. For Export File select which format you want the export file to be in. (Some formats may not be available)
A. MS Excel SpreadSheet - see How to Export Records directly to MS Excel Spreadsheet
B. Comma-Quote Delimited Label (preferred for MS Excel) - select if you are going to import to Excel
C. Comma Delimited Label (preferred for MS Word) - select if you are going to import to Word 2000 and up
D. Top Producer Summary - select if importing to Top Producer - 22 fields
E. Top Producer Detail - select if importing to Top Producer - 87 fields

8. Click the Export button (green button)

9. The File Download prompt will open.
Click Open. A window will open in Notepad or Excel with the data.

The Notepad/text data will look something like this:
"Name","Address","City","State","Zip","FirstName","MiddleName","LastName","Title"
"James Smith","PO Box 4386","Greensboro","NC"," 274044386","James","Norman & Debra","Smith","Mr."
"James N Smith","409 Blanchwood Ave","Greensboro","NC","27401","James","N.","Smith","Mr."


Click File then Save As

10. In the Save As window select the location to save the file and type in a Filename. Filenames should not be more than 10 characters. Click Save.
