Tabs
Tabs allow you to easily move from one screen to another. The first three
tabs of the Residential Estimator Estimate Data Screens are illustrated above.
Within a tab set, the active tab appears "raised" compared to the other tabs.
In the illustration above, the General Information tab is the active tab.
To move from one tab to another:
- Mouse/Keyboard: Click on the desired tab.
- Keyboard Only: Press the Tab key until the active tab in the tab set is highlighted, then use the Right Arrow or Left Arrow key to move to the desired tab. A tab is highlighted when a dotted rectangle
surrounds the label (name) on the tab.
Example: In the following, the Building Data tab is highlighted (dotted rectangle) and therefore active (raised compared
to the other tabs):
