Story Height

Residential Estimator automatically assumes a story height of 8 feet for all types and qualities of residences, except excellent quality single-family residences, which it assumes are 10 feet high. To set a different story height for an estimate, click the Cost Adjustments button on the Totals tab, then enter the height in the Story Height field.

Example: To set the story height to 10½ feet, enter 10.5 in this field.
