New Estimate Wizard General Information Screen
Use this screen to enter information about the owner, location and other
identifying items about the building. Except for ZIP/Postal Code, entry of
information into these fields is optional. ZIP/Postal Code is required.
To enter information, click in the desired field (or press the Tab key until the cursor is in the field), then type the information.
You can customize the field names for any of the fields on this screen. For example, if your estimates are
only in the United States, you can change the "State/Province" field to "State,"
and the "ZIP/Postal Code" field to "ZIP Code." This is especially useful for
the "User Defined" field at the bottom of the screen.
In addition, you can set "new estimate values" for any of the fields on this screen. These values automatically display in
the fields for each new estimate. For example, if your estimates are only in
California, you can set the state on this screen to always be ‘CA’ for all new estimates.
Finally, you can customize the reports to print any or all of the fields in this section (in any order) at the top
of the reports.
