622 Raised Subfloor

Specifies how much of the residence has a raised wood subfloor. Enter either the raised subfloor area in square feet, or enter the percentage of the total floor area that is raised subfloor. The raised subfloor area includes anything other than a concrete slab (including the subfloor for the upper stories, crawl space and basement).

Note: Be careful when making this entry for a multi-story residence. For example, the entry for a two-story residence with 2,000 square feet of total floor area that has a slab floor under half (500 square feet) of the first story, a basement under the other half of the first story (500 square feet) and a wood subfloor on the second story is either 1,500 square feet or 75%.
