A projection from a sloping roof to provide more headroom under the roof, allowing the installation of dormer windows. Enter the length of the projected face in linear feet. This component is an average of the costs for dormers with hip, gable and shed dormers, and is available for consistency with the on-line RE2 program. For greater accuracy, use component 281 (Dormers, Hip Roof), 282 (Dormers, Gable Roof) or 283 (Dormers, Shed Roof).
